Nice work guys. Good to see people still putting headers on Maximas. I miss my 2002 with Cattmans.

Manufacturing tolerances go bad sometimes, even my $800 Cattman Gen 2s needed the front motor mount bracket ground down to fit. It might have been only one of a few bad sets, along with Epacy's, that Cattman put out, but it happens. Modifications are modifications, as long as they are not OEM, there's the possibility of adjustments required. Just sayin.

Upgrade that merge and flex with 2.5 or 3inch and roll out.

Nice find! So far liking the power and response with the headers. I installed a BOP and spacers (except the main spacer, stripped a stud and skipped for now) at the same time so my gains are probably a little different than a typical header install but the top end doesnt die after 5500 RPM any more. Used the non-fouler deal on mine so I'll post if I have a CEL or any other issues.

SES light is on. I'll swing by Advance Auto later and have them read the codes... Car does run like a beast though.

I'm about to pull the trigger on these headers but wondering where is a good place to buy them. I found some websites that have them for $333 but worried they aren't legit websites.

Already checked ebay and only 1 person has them for $380

Sounds like I give them a try in a couple weeks.

Advise on where a good location for a wideband would be on these headers? Before or after the flex pipe?

Here is a question for you guys. Do you get an almost "metallic wgistle" sound when you get on it? It kinda sounds like a blow off...

Not sure if it is the bung making a "whistle " effect or if it is the flex.

It's not a huge deal or very loud but noticeable to me and a few people I have run against(it's a;ways funny when Civics think I'm boosted and they realize how slow their car actually is when I'm simply NA)

Yes I get that same sound. Most attribute that sound to the flex section. It doesn't bother me either. That sound along with the whistle my spacers make really confuses some people. They wonder where the blow off valve is.

Just checked out that website today and they no longer have the headers. Would that just mean they don't have any more in stock or no longer selling them?

I knew I should have jumped on that good deal when i had the chance

I get the same sound. It kinda bugs me, but not enough for me to care at the moment. When I build my catback I will weld in a better flex. But for now its fine.

I ordered from ssaccesories.com and they are a good seller. Processed and shipped fast. Got here a day earlier then I was expecting
