Least you didn't figure it out by leaking oil tinged steering fluid onto a customer's driveway like I did.

I don't usually check my oil while driving

Nor am I much of a boy racer type with my Maxima...I drive a fully track built e36 at Summit Point.

And we also have a 7th gen...

On that topic I went at it with a g35 sedan on the highway the other day and didn't get smoked. Sure he put about two car lengths on me but as far as I'm concerned if I can still lob a stone and hit your car, you haven't beaten me by much. That's what he gets for having 400 extra pounds.

Now when I smoke people on my motorcycle, it's usually an absolute annihilation...lol

^ Nice. G35 aint all that esp. the awd ones are heavy... vq37 on the other hand is pretty violent.

I've dipped out and gotten away on the popo several times in a stock e46 M3 6MT when I was young and wild. Handling > straight line speed, not that an e46 is slow by any means...

Depends on model and year. They are 3600+lbs vs maxima 3200. So they give up 40hp there. The first gens had 260hp which is no problem for a 3.5 2002-2003 maxima to get to with light mods. A heavily modded De-k can reach almost that (which I'll show pretty soon with my dyno results). Gearing goes to the g35 most likely but on the highway...my max wasn't running out of steam chasing that g35. He couldn't really get away

Overall the RWD G35 will chew through any Maxima.

In a straight line MAYBE Maxima could keep up but the G35 chassis is superior for sporty driving.

edit: The g35 is also called the skyline in other countries.....

Maybe so...but I'd venture a guess that my coilovers on medium tight setting and dropped like they are could annoy the hell out of most g35 drivers. I took a bend so fast the other day that I had to lean up against the door....lol

I know I know. Modded it's no contest. But heavily modded maximas are no slouches. Especially for cars this old

Which is a shame to the Skyline name. A true skyline from R32-R34 were amazing cars and are not even close to being in the same league as any G35.

Where? The R35 GTR is not called a skyline.

G35 is definitely known as a Skyline outside of America, definitely in Japan and europe. They called it the skyline 350gt instead of g35, and it has a Nissan badge since Infiniti is a USA only brand.

As for an actual, real Skyline...Look up R32-R34 those are the real deal and the only true Skyline GT-R.

^ Silvia? What does that have to do with Skyline? Check this out guys, this is one of my favorite cars of all time, R32 skyline gtr:

R32 DESTROYING Industrial Backroads!!! Drifting, Flybys, and Re..." on YouTube
Skyline R32 DESTROYING Industrial Backroads!!! Drifting, Flybys, and Re...:

R33 skyline comes in a close 2nd, and R34 in 3rd place for me.

And whats with the Mitsubishi george? uke:

Evo IX is nice but awd is for amateurs just like the boy racer Subarus

Come on now, you're still a bit off

They share the same chassis but different car with different engine choices. Silvia was Japan-only and available with the turbo sr20det which is the exact engine that was being swapped into the 240sx lol

Cleaned my engine bay and was feeling happy until I saw the reason my windshield sprayers weren't working wasn't in fact that I was out of fluid but that the little hose and connector are just hanging there from my hood not connected to anything. Place it plugs in, nowhere in site.....weeeee!

Dude, so you've been spraying washer fluid on your engine every time you tried to use it or no?

Look under the hood heat shield to connect the hose back up

Lol....good question. Unfortunately it's this one. There is nowhere for it to connect in site.
