5th Gen: What did you do to your 5th Gen today?

- Disconnected the moonroof switch since I got tired of it randomly opening out of nowhere.
- Finally removed the engine cover. One of the stupid bolts was stripped so had to use Vise-Grips to bite into it.
Some real intense mods, I know

Yeah I had it in my spec v. Reading on here everyone was saying that mt85 was better. So I went that route when I put the clutch and flywheel in.
It never gets below 0 here.
So my Powerstop rotors cracked. They only have a 30 day warranty when purchased separately. Crap only have about 1k miles in them. Granted I have heated them up a few times goofing off with my girlfriend but dang I can't believe they cracked like that.
So I ordered the Powerstop kit for the 6th gen (KC091-26)
These at least have a 3 year warranty and are bigger. Don't like that they weight almost 8 pounds more per rotor but they shouldn't Crack like the other ones did being bigger and thicker.

speaker problem 2003 nissan maxima
in a 2003 nissan maxima ive replaced all door speakers, everything is faded and balanced to center levels but both front and back speakers arent working on the passenger side, figured theres was a factory amp that had those channels go bad and could just bypass the amp all together but im not able to find an amp, so got me thinking it was the factory radio itself, and if replacing it may fix this problem, has anyone else had this problem or know the fix to it?

Finally got the BC's in. Love the newfound suspension travel, instead of cringing at my normal bottom out spots, I just cruise through. It' great.
Needs moAr low though. Going to lower it maybe an extra 1/2" all around.

At least it's easy to replace boots.

Also, I've got a Carltonator 30" big boy, so I can't go much lower than it was on Progress if any if I want to not get snagged on something.

not today, but yesterday - replaced tranny pan and gave some new fluids. i know nothing had been done since i owned it the last 3 years, i was curious to drop the pan and see what it looked like in there.
old pan looking rusty and stuff, this was the main reason i replaced. a new (dorman) one was pretty cheap so why not
fluid a little darkish
little bit of shavings on the magnets, to be expected, but no sludge or other surprises on the bottom of the pan
i was a little surpised today when i looked at records and the last trans service was @100k miles in 2004 - it appears to have been a complete fluid replacement. previous owner was pretty **** about having the dealer do everything per maintenance schedule, i'm just surprised he went 2004-2013 without having anything done. my original plan was to do a full fluid drain/fill through the return line but the more i read the transmission fluid thread the more paranoid i was about a full replacement in a high mileage (226k miles) vehicle. so i chickened out and just added back some fancy amsoil. i'll do another drain/fill next time i do some type of service
done!
ALSO, NO MORE VIBRATING HOOD!
replaced the hood stops
not the final height lol but i couldn't find the picture after adjusting
today i helped a buddy get his old af 96 acura running. crank, no start situation. it turned out to be the common honda/acura "main relay" problem. dropped 2 ***** of solder and that piece of crap was running again
