removed entire air cleaner assembly, removed Air temperature sensor + MAF sensor. Submerged in soapy water cleaned.
Removing throttle + Plenum for VCG's. Gotta check Knock sensor had a P0325 flash but went out.
I have 2Mega ohms slot is this enough?

Today i tinted my tails with some NiteShade and some clear coat! A cheap easy mod that gives a heck of an improvement!

Also, i painted my front grill and honks!

Next up would be my fog's holes painted black, or should I put lights in em?

Also tinting my back window is a must!

Put fogs on it-the 5th gens looks incomplete without the fogs IMO

Took my 03 for a drive and started to running bad(skipping/sputtering) got back home got my Snap on scanner and found the Cyl#5 has misfire,so I just change the coil and went back for a drive and no more sputtering and runs smooth.I didn't drive the car about 10-13 days as I just got me a G35S and now my Maxima just sit in my driveway.

On my Maximas I gutted the cats(all 3) and that's actually it's loud enough for me.As on the cat back I don't have any idea as which would be nice,I have the HKS turbo back on my 240sx and I love it,but it's turbo'd so with the NA it will sound different

Thats my concern! I dont feel confortable with gutting or removing the cats tho... if i do something it will be replacing it with a highflow cat! But for now i think à catback would be fine! Just need to know if the 150$ one's arent too loud!

Cats barely do **** for noise reduction. Highflow cat is as much as a waste of money as precats.

If you have a 3.5, then you don't have a choice unless your choice is replacing the engine or buying another car.

I think he means the cats supposedly break up and get sucked up by the exhaust, destroy the engine.

If the first character in the VIN is a "J" it's assembled in Japan.

I just never looked closely at that plate before! But the "made in japan" made it pretty obvious!

According to the VIN, the plant where it was assembled is Oppama, Japan.

Replaced my Bank 2, sensor 1 O2 sensor last night. One of the easiest O2 changes I've ever done.

Goodbye cel, at least for now.

Car was running lean for a while. I hadn't driven it hard since I had been dealing with replacing broken parts, like my Powersteering hose and miscellanious annoyances, such as the IC piping rubbing on my shift cable and snapping apart. The A/F was acceptable at crusing so I never really noticed until I would occassionally hit boost at 4k. Worked for a week tracing down the problem. Wasn't the FPR, but it was this little hose that connects the fuel pump to the fuel pump assembly. Super easy fix. Love opening that gas tank. Having no evap system leads to the cabin smelling up, and it was super bad when this hose was loose/torn because it would just spray fuel onto the fuel assembly lid. So much awesome.

Car is running great now. Actually getting to race around and feel the rush. Onto new wheels.

Washed, waxed, and cleaned the inside. Adjusted tire pressure from 35psi to 25psi
So raced a 2013 turbo malibu and a fully modded 2008 Hyundai Tiburon(my neighbors) Well it wasn't even a race really. The tiburon wasn't even remotely close and he was the one talking most the crap. They guy in the malibu was about 5 cars or so back to 120.
Love living down a mile long private straight away!!!!!
Girl friend and I are almost finished with her car . So hopefully we will be racing tonight

A/F ratio was showing lean at higher throttle. Smell of gas was really bad inside too. I pulled the backseat off and saw some gas had absorbed into the seat and there was gas on the top of the cover.

I talked to Moncef at AdminTuning for some help, and we wanted to narrow down the problem, and decided to swap a different FPR to see if that fixed it, and no change. I should've checked in the gas tank first. I noticed I would lose fuel pressure after driving, and that it was constantly low regardless. I also struggled to get fuel when accelerating at all with a low tank. I was really almost certain it was the pump.

I should've opened the gas tank earlier. I had thought the pump was not getting a good connection, and Cef even suggested it later. Feel stupid for not checking to begin with.

Essentially it wouldn't go any richer than 14 at any point with my foot on the gas. If I really stepped on the gas, it would run down to 14, and as the revs climbed and hit boost, it would jump to around 15-16. Now when I hit boost, it jumps to 12 to 10. It's tuned richer, and that's how I'd rather it be.

Had a bad clunk in the front end since I got the car a few months ago; turns out the subframe was about to fall out of the damn car. One missing bolt and the other was only hanging on by 2 threads. 2 window welded motor mounts and a junkyard bolt solved so many issues I was having.

While I was under there, a friend gave me a test pipe from his 240SX. Spent $6 on gaskets but the junkyard gave me $15 for the old cat. Technically made money on this mod. (for those wondering, there was zero sound difference)

Finally fixed the aftermarket radio reception problem - reversed the factory connector in the aftermarket antenna adapter and I now get HD radio stations. I am quite impressed with the sound of the Bose system when paired with the Kenwood DPX-791BH.

Replaced a leaking power steering hose with the help of lots of previous posters to the forum here. Now to go update that thread with a tip I don't think has been shared before, but helped me out.
