Just ordered my ELM327 today! After advancing timing, unless the idle is at a normal rpm, I should definitely do the idle relearn correct?

I purchased this one......

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00SM8R04Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469136033&sr=8-1-fkmr0&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=ideap ro+327

It works great with the car gauge pro.

I have tried a s3, s4 , s5, s6, note 4, a tab s 8.4, and a note 10.1 2014. None of them will connect???? Though it works just fine with torque pro

Successful timing advance here, confirming that the Bafx Bluetooth dongle works with Car gauge pro and connects to the Ecu no problem,I tried the mini elm327 and the Vgate prior but they could'nt connect to Ecu,the only problem I ran in to was while I was in self test adjusting the timing I would get a not supported message,I just simply disconnected negative battery terminal for a minute as the self learning feature didn't do anything even though it said test ok,car was running also when I adjusted the timing, confirmed timing stuck with Car diagnostics pro.Btw car is a 2001 Anniversary edition 5spd,and yes u do feel the torque taking off at the light, overall the car accelerates with ease now,my after market exhaust also pops more when decelerating now but I love it,thanks to jwatz And this thread for the advice
