Anzo USA tail lights legal or illegal?
Hi everyone! I've bought these black and white tail light from Amazon and I was wonder if this is legal to use for those people who live in Seattle or nearby like I am. I just wanna have a heads up before applying them to my car. Thanks in Advance!

they should be legal as long as you have the proper colored bulbs in there. if you don't want the colors to show while the car is off just mist the bulbs with some silver paint and the red and yellow will still come through when lit.

When you have the tail lights on, you are OK. But when the lights are off, you are illegal. You must have something red showing all the time, like a reflector. Look at cars that come with all silver/clear tail lights and you will see that they have reflectors on the back somewhere.

They would be illegal for you need some kind of red reflector somewhere on the back of your car. If it isn't on the taillights, you will need to find a way to put red reflectors somewhere on the back of your car.
Federal law.

you need to have something that reflects basically. I have those tails and my spoiler light is the only red thing back there. Some cars come with them stock so its not a new concept, like some Lexus and Mitsubishi SUV's. So get red reflective tape or something. And buy high output LED bulbs...basic red bulbs wont cut it because of how the thing is designed

Be a real man and just do it. Legal, illegal, who cares?
Figure out if you'll get hassled for it as you go along the way, if you ever get pulled over for it, then fix it. Otherwise do your thing and **** it.
Oh and, I see so many cars with clear tails nowadays that I doubt any cop will even notice that yours have no red reflector.

I'm a law enforcentment officer in pa, and it is legal as long as you have red and amber/yellow bulbs. read for tails/brakes and yellow for turn signals. I have these on one of my 5th gens and yes i've gotten pulled over by other officers that didn't know me or my car and tried to **** with me because they think that it's illegal. But once you know the vehicle code law and know that all you need is red and yellow bulbs and you let them know you know, they should leave you alone.
