2002 Maxima Randomly Dies

So I've been driving my 2002 max for the last couple months with a few codes on it; the codes never affected the way the car drives until now though.

I will be cruising in 5th or 6th gear and the car starts puttering. I push in the clutch to coast and the idle goes really low, and then it just dies. If I try to push the gas down, it just refuses to accelerate and bogs down to a stop.

The codes I've pulled up recently are:
p1800 - I've read its the VIAS sensor, which I believe is the sensor right on top of the plenum. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these

p0113 - Maybe the MAF? IAT? Not sure where the IAT is. Ive got a cold air intake and its been running fine with it on there for the last month or so. The dying of the car just started this week though, and its gotten worse. It died twice today.

p0011 - I've read this could be the Intake Valve Timing control solenoid or a Cam sensor.. I've been looking everywhere online and I just cant get a clear answer on any of these codes and what is the correct fix.

My MAIN question is, which one of these codes/problems would cause my car to die? Obviously I would need to fix this problem first.

The only work I've done to the car is take the plenum on and off. I did that about a couple months ago and its been running fine, no air major leaks or anything that I know of.

Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated! I am fairly sure this should be an easy fix, I just need a good starting point on what to fix, and how to fix it!

P0113 & p0011

Read this page 203 (P0113)
http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Maxima/2002/EC.pdf

Check the connector and clean the MAF sensor

P0011
Camshaft position Sensor Bank 1 Read page (167)

Read this:http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/tsb/NTB03-124.pdf

Clean the camshaft position sensor near the radiator and near the firewall
Both of them have green tab: to disconnect push the green tab then pull the connector
Ideally you need to replace both camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor with OEM Genuine Nissan parts at the dealership or OEM aftermarket parts at Rockauto. Aftermarket sensor of autozone and pepboys will erase the code but the problem persist

It turns out I didnt have a thermoresitor in the MAF! I installed a new MAF sensor with a thermoresistor (not the MAF whole box) and my car is running good! I was even able to chirp third on the way home Lets hope it stops dying and that code goes away! Thanks guys

Had this issue (similar one at least) it.

Cleared the codes and it was happy again. Haven't had an issue in a year or so.

CPS is causing it to die. Thermistor doesn't matter at all.

^^^^ what he just said ... random stalling 9/10 times is the CPS sensor ... been there and done that one as I have replaced my Bank 2 sensor for this very reason of random stalling

By CPS, do you mean camshaft or crankshaft position sensor? How do I know which sensor exactly needs to be replaced

I would replace both Camshaft Senors ... Bank 1 and Bank 2

Please don't buy the replacement off of Ebay either get OEM sensors from the dealer or Rockauto.com for a suitable aftermarket ... trying to go cheap of critical engine sensors is only going to leave you frustrated when they either don't work or fail quickly (spent the extra monies and fix the problem right)
