This is frustrating. P0650 is not listed in the 2004 Altima FSM. It is in the 2003 FSM, but not in 04 through 07.

In the 2003 Maxima manual, P0650 is a problem with the circuit that lights up the check engine light. It could be a wiring problem or the instrument cluster. But there is no indication that the engine won't run. A bad MAF could be the problem. The MAF does not always throw a code. If the engine will not start, unplug the MAF and see if it will start.

Start reading on page 442 of the 2003 maxima manual.
