Changed iac twice wouldn't work...waited a while both times thinking the ecu had to learn and incorporate the new part.....it didn't.....put old one back on but read these threads in here and researched only to determined I burned my ecu with the faulty iac.....car runs fine just have to get the rpm up when its a cold start but still rides smooth also I cleaned the hell out of the throttle body itself question is can I live with the bad ecu as long as it's driving? Will the car stop driving soon due to this? Can I buy a used ecu or rebuild mine? Please help a brother!!!

You need to get a new ECU + a key reprogram. Try getting the ECU repaired for about $100 so you don't have to do a reprogram.

If you keep driving the car, the ECU will eventually keep getting worse.
