Headlight theft still a problem on the 02-03 Maxima?

I'm aware that about 10 years ago headlight theft was a serious problem in the NYC Metro area for the 02-03 Maximas. Does the problem still exist up there? Thinking of taking my 03 Maxima up there in a few weeks.

So as long as they carefully steal your car, you'll cool with it. Makes total sense

How can they tow a slammed car without making a ton of noise?

Their are tow trucks and even people's converted personal pick up trucks that have these gizmos that are like 1" thick only and go around the front and slide in around the wheels, lift up, and they're gone in a matter of 15 - 20 seconds with minimal noise.

We call them Crab Grabbers.looks like 2 crab claws from the back of a pickup truck lock around your wheels and ****** ya.OTH city towing just wraps a chain around your wheel and pulls your car sideways then jacks it.

What about speed bumps! I even scrape on those damn speed humps. Where it is not exactly a bump, just a small hump.

Are you re,re or just plain stupid? i think a professional will wait till your on a flat surface.

Op..should Ride the subway or a cab if you don't want your car to have a lot of chances of being broken into or stolen.

Wow..hard to believe the time flew by so fast. IT was a huge problem back in the days..About 50-70 percent of people who had these cars in nyc had the headlights stolen. I know guys who had their lights stolen 2 to 3 times. Not a problem anymore at all.
