Correct 5th Gen AC Bypass Belt

2000 Maxima 3.0

I have searched for two days looking for the correct belt to bypass my A/C Pulley..

Two choices
1. 3706K Belt will work but it only has about 1/4 inch before the belt "Might" rub.
Can be purchased at local part stores.

Length: 37"
# of Ribs: 6

Features:
• Mainly used for automobile serpentine drives. Also known as K or PK Micro Rib Poly Belt
• Reduced vibrations, shock absorber, low stretch and an excellent behavior under heavy load.
• Extremely flexible, capable to work on small pulley diameters.
• Oil and heat resistant.

Replaces:

• Dayco - 5060370
• Gates - K060370
• Goodyear - 4060370
• Metric Belt Code - 6PK0937
• Metric Belt Code - 6PK0938
• Metric Belt Code - 6PK0939
• Metric Belt Code - 6PK0940
• Metric Belt Code - 6PK0941
• Napa - 25060370

2. 365k6 Should work a lot better and give more space between the belt touching.
Will most likely need to be ordered online. http://www.vbelts4less.com/ or someplace else.

To bypass the ac, you need a belt that is 920 mm or 36 inches. That would be metric code 6PK0920.

There have been a bunch of posts in the past about this, so I'm surprised that you weren't able to find this. Others have said they used a 37" belt, so you are probably OK with that.

you need this one...
DAYCO 5060370, 6PK940. I just did it to my car and I had issues with the 36", the 37" fits perfectly.
