Yakima? I dont care to know much about roof racks, but I see those all the time..

And let me get this right, you want one just for looks because some others have it? At least get a bike or something to carry up there.

People with useless roof racks are like people who buy F250's and never use it for work.

Well yes and no, I race go karts and always have to use my moms Lexus gx470 to haul it and now it's sold so I'm going to haul it with the roof rack rather than a trailer and hitch , few people that I race with have sedans like that

The roof won't collapse and kill you?

^^ lmao george

I race go karts too, dont have one of my own but..

Now that you mention that, it makes sense. I would look for whatever the other go karters use, I assume some of the racks are stronger/better setup than others.

Not my ideal way of transport but it works.

Just doesn't seem very safe.

What about buying a utility trailer?

Get a Thule roof rack, I had one that I used on my 97 SE, that I later used on my 03 SE and even on my 2010 Murano. I loaded 4 bikes on it with no problem and like you said it holds a lot of weight. I weigh about 295lbs and have actually stood on the rack with no damage to the car.

I like the look of Thule one's, that's also a pretty strong rack!
