2000 maxima se a/t speed sensor
Hi my sister owns a white 2000 maxima a/t se. The speedometer stopped working. Tried another cluster. no luck. What would actually cause a faulty speed output? I have looked on the transmission. I have spotted two sensors behind the drivers side wheel. i have marked them with my note 4 pen. the left one as sensor I labeled as sensor #1. sensor #2 which goes by revolution sensor on google diagrams and also labeled as a crankcase or speed sensor by part number (g4t07281) or (9y19) and spot #3 list a vehicle speed sensor in some diagrams but all i found was a cover plate with a 10 mm bolt .

Put the cover back on , my a/t didn't have one either(revolution sensor) looks like it has a lil gear wheel at the end....
...the sensor on the second pic is the one to replace iirc it's vss output...make sure you buy the expensive oem kind...

Napa ones work in my experience.
