lost keys

Yup I lost my keys first time ever. I only had the one key to start the car its a 03 max with chip in the key 6 speed with factory alarm. Its gonna cost close to two hundred to get a set a new keys from my local locksmith. My question is how can I start this thing without the key can it be converted to now chip key.iI mean I'm sure people have stolen these cars there must be a way.my cars stuck at work with the ignition locked and the wheels turned so it'd be tough to load it on a trailer

Can't the locksmith meet you there?

Tow truck drivers are rouge beasts!

I would not recommend this unless you are looking for a way to experiment for less than $100 and you already have a PC (usually a laptop) that is running Windows 7 or older.

Purchasing the an incorrect or malfunctioning VAG cable can keep the product from working properly.

Here's a video on how it works below.

Without a key (valet or regular) you can't really unlock the steering column. As far as towing, there is a thing that the tow truck slides under the front bumper and it clamps onto the front wheels and lifts them off the ground. The car is towed on its rear wheels.

Find out the prices for the locksmith if you bring the car to them versus them coming to the car. When you add in the price of the tow, it may be about the same money.

You will get more than one key made, right?
