Car hesitates at weird times

Hey everyone. I got the codes:
-P0100
-P0325

So it says it could be a knock sensor or MAF. My car hesitates and bounces at 2k rpm if I rev slowly or drive slowly. Then after 2K the rpms wil randomly spark up to 3K and there will be no acceleration occurring during that jump of RPMs. I don't know if I should replace my knock sensor or MAF.. How much/long does it take for the knock sensor if I go to a mechanic? How much does the sensor cost itself

Should I buy one online or should I pay for one at the store? Can I keep driving on it or do I need it immediatley?

You can try to clean it; most stores MAF cleaners for around $10.

However, I strongly recommend buying a new one from Courtesy Nissan - they sell them for only $77 + shipping. Then, clean the old one and keep it as a spare.

The KS code is a piggyback code to the real issue, the MAF. Buy a new MAF, clear codes, and I bet the KS code will not return.

That's not where you buy a MAF and the price is way too high.

I would say the aftermarket iacv and maf are the only things keeping the maxi from running right at this point

Return it and buy OEM from CourtesyParts.com; they sell it for $77 + shipping.

KS does not cause hesitation. It just makes the car INSANELY slow b/c the ignition timing is very retarded.

In the Maxima world, this statement is not true. You need to get your hands on a used or new OEM MAF. Trust us.

If you get a new maf and the knock sensor code remains we can work something out ....

And you would still be wrong b/c it's unrelated. Go unplug your KS. It's not going to cause any such symptom.

On the websites for reading codes it says it causes hesitation and bucking?

Is that website specifically for nissans? What about for maximas?

And if it's online, then it must be true. No one would ever post incorrect information.
Wait...me typing is like a catch 22

similar bosch looking maf worked

I had a maf problem 2years ago and found out similar looking bosch 5pin maf, cheap OEM one and modified the connector. It woked perfect. The maf was Hyundai santafe's ('04 diesel model ) It was $70. I believe the principle of the maf is the same.

Yeah but these guys are saying not to go aftermarket. I'm returning the MAF I got from autozone first and then gonna buy the OEM one.

What confuses me though is that when my mechanic cleared the codes and held the gas while trying to Reread it, the first code that came up was the knock sensor. But like the other guys said it isn't the knock sensor cause it doesn't cause the car to jerk or hesitate or jump in revs

For the record, I'm not saying there isn't something up with the KS (harness or dead), but it just doesn't cause your symptom in any way.

And after replacing the maf, I would do an ecu reset (not just clearing codes).

Okay guys. So I didn't even do anything yet to the car and it's been a couple days. My check engine light is randomly just gone but the car still does what I mentioned before. & no the bulb did not fuse because I put it into "ON" mode and the check engine light lights up. Does anyone know why this would happen?
