They were going for $4700. I wanted $5300. This car has sold for close to $6000 in the condition that mine is but I wasn't pushing the issue so I wanted fair market value so we settled for $5100 and I said fine. The headaches and tons of calls weren't worth my headaches. I hate insurance companies. They're just always looking to rip you off.

BTW, just took the car to the alignment shop and ironically enough the side that got hit aligns fine. The UNhit side has inherent Positive camber (top of wheel points outward) but it's not that much. The tech suggested camber plates. Does anybody know where I can get cheap camber plates?

See my reply to your separate thread about camber plates. They do not exist, and if they did, I would not recommend.

Get more money and Salvage it. You could part out and get double the salvage fee in parting out just the engine and Tranny. BTW insurance is such a rip off. You pay through the nose for years and years for nothing but a piece of paper. Then when you need it they screw you over in paying out. I hate insurance.

Also, get a new car. The older our cars get the harder it gets to find parts.

Thanks, I'm bringing it back again so they can recheck it. I put air in the tires myself. I found that the jackass had put 41 psi in 3 tires yet one of them was down to 32. I mean damn can you be that stupid? That would certainly throw off the alignment off a few degrees.
