Hey guys. I did a 5 speed swap to my 96 max and did the éclat rival part no problem. Jumped the park neutral switch got the reverser lights to work got the ecu to read when cars in neutral everything good been good passed inspection 3 times already.

My buddy had a 97 max 5speed got smashed his buddy gave him an 01 max that was auto we just swapped all parts over and converted it. It drives fine and all the only thing is I can't find the park neutral wires. I took a multi meter to the gear selector auto tranny to see what ones are the park one and found it. Got the car start that's how I drove it but now

When I leave them hooked up(twisted together for now till I get a chance to run to the pedal) after a few days the dash lighs like oil light and all stay on when the car is off. And car don't start. I take out the dash fuse the lights go out car starts with twisted together. But when I out dash lfuse back in car don't start and lights stay on. But when I untwist the wires and leave fuse in lights go out. But my question is what wires do I gotta jump on the 01 max. I've looked for about a week now and got no answers on it thanks guys

Exactly what wires have you twisted together - from where to where? Wire colors would be helpful.

Are you using the clutch pedal switch or bypassing it?

In the automatic trans car, there is a green with orange stripe wire coming out of the park neutral switch on pin 1. On a manual trans car, this wire should be connected to the clutch pedal switch. The other pin of the clutch pedal switch is connected to ground.
