Another post where i need help asap :/
Hello yall here i go again with more issues with my 2000 maxima. Need some help onthis one tho
I had a vacuum leak thru my intake manifold gasket
Went to mechanic they replaced the valve cover gasket
In the process the broke on coil pack
So when i got the car back my car was running rough. Sounds weirrd thru exhaust no power what so ever , and it takes a very long time to turn on it cranks for a while i keep my foot on gas and it eventually turns on
I thiught misfire so i bough the coil pck and replaced it and the problem still occurs. Any ideas ?? My car was running fine before. Even with the vacuum leak the problem was only during idling before. Thanks

Exactly how was the coil pack broken? if it was just the mounting tabs, it would still work.
Did the mechanic replace the intake manifold gasket? Get some starting fluid or brake cleaner and spray it around the intake manifold gasket area while the car is idling and see what happens.
Check the rubber boots/hoses from the air cleaner to the throttle valve and see if they are in good shape or broken.

And yes he did
And it seem like he had a hard time figuring out where the vacuum hoses go. Any diagrams on the org ?
