I had Illuminas on my 5.5th Gen for years and they got too hard too find and too high since TokicoUSA went bankrupt...I switched to Koni Yellows which are easier too get, less expensive and more robust....

Illuminas are not softer than stock unless you're on #1 setting maybe #2 other than that you're much stiffer than stock. Blues most say are softer than stock I couldn't tell you I never had them.

but require a modifcation to work? correct? so not plug and play....

search buddy! and yes a brand, and no not for our car. you need to research before shotgunning questions that are easily/readily available with in 5 mins of searching and 5 mins of reading

I have around 100,000 miles on a set of kybs on my 2k maxima gxe and they are still going strong. Installed another set on my 03 maxima SE and have 30,000 miles on them. Both are with stock springs. I just bought another 03 SE this week and I have a set of kybs on the way. This time I am changing the springs. I have a set of h&r s coming.
