coil spring isolators?

ok...only had the maxima for a few weeks. I am going to change out most of the front suspension and the rear shocks and lowering springs. I have all the components except I have not purchased any coil spring isolators. I have not inspected the isolators that may be on the car now and I do not have the car here with me. so...my question is do most ppl just transfer the isolators from the stock springs and reuse them or what. since my goal is to lower the car while swapping suspension parts I want to make sure I do not add to the height with isolators. so...what have you guys done when swapping in lowering springs? new, old or didn't use any? if new, what did you go with.
thanks

I didn't lower my car but I have changed the struts. Nissan uses a piece of paper as an isolator. Mine were in semi-good shape and I re-used them. If I lived up north, I'm sure they would have been no good. However I really should have replaced them, but I didn't want to stop putting in the struts to go get some.

On the bottom of the spring, Nissan uses what it calls "Seat-Rubber, Front Spring", part number 54034-31U20, suggested list price $22.78.

The top of the spring uses a part with the same name, "Seat-Rubber, Front Spring", but a different part number, 54034-AG001, suggested list price $23.05. These 2 parts do not look like each other.

I found the upper one on rockauto.com for $6.41, but not the lower.
Couldn't find them on autozone, found universal ones on O'reilly Auto but I don't know if they are in your area. Search for coil spring insulator or coil spring isolator.

I don't use anything. I put some grease on it just in case, but that's it.

It's totally unnecessary to have anything on the mounts (I just put coilovers on everything lol).

i'm actually looking at getting a thicker isolator for the rear so it can be closer to level with the front as i'll be installing a set of vogtland lowering springs. from the pics I've seen with these springs the rear is a tad bit lower than the front.
