It's not possible. TS used to reflash, but they quit. edit: I looked it up. Their tuner quit in 2011, so they just quit doing anything ECU related.

That sucks. I would really like to have my esc tuned. I've done a bit of work on my car and that would finish the deal. I would do cams if I could raise the Rev limiter and have the throttle fully opened

There are other ways to do things you've mentioned try and search you'll be amazed at what you find.

What you need is a piggyback type tuning system that modifies the signals coming to and from the ECU.

Here's stats from my F-Spec TS-ECU. Derrick is correct, piggyback is the way to go unless you go full gangster and go Haltech. There's always EMU also.

Much better choices out there IMO. I had a UTEC, and I prefer an AFC over that thing.

dumb question but can't you just use the 350z harness and ecu?
then just get some 350z flash?

Nope doesn't work that easy. Different ecus and different harness so you'd need to buy a patch harness from Darren.

Interesting. I don't think it would be quite that simple but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to tune one for a Maxima. They do other Nissan vehicles as well.

The Maxima does have a different harness plug than the 350Z or G35.

Depends on what you need. I have a turbo so an afc doesn't work for me. Utec gets a lot of grief but as I've said before. Where can you get something that does everything it can for as cheap as you can get a utec plus the tuner? Nowhere. It's not the utecs fault it's old and the company abandoned it.

So it is possible but, not by any regular joe. I've been researching how tuners do it to cars with out ready made software or kits.

EDIT: I wonder if it would possible to find out who did the 5th gen tuning for TS and contact for them information about how they did it.

fuzzy logic, aka simulators and emulators aren't always the best. i've been looking at guides for manually modifying ECUs. seems to be the only way. not to say fuzzy logic doesn't work.
