Exhaust Help

I have no clue what I am doing..! I have a 2002 nissan maxima se. I have a bad exhaust leak, so I was just planning on changing everything, from the engine all the way back to the muffler. I have been reading alot about exhaust systems for my car, but everything seems too complex for me.. From what I read I want obx headers, a high flow cat, and a 2.5 cattman. But I know I'm missing alot of piping down there. Pls take it easy on me, im a newbie, just joined the vq fam. But any advice/help would be appreciated.

Here is the diagram of the exhaust system from the Walker Muffler Company. It does not show the exhaust headers, it shows all the pieces of a stock exhaust system that come after the headers.

Sounds like you're planning to go with an aftermarket setup thats noticeably louder. Unfortunately, Cattman went out of business 5 or so years ago and anything from that company is going to be either $700+ just for the catback and extremely difficult to find. There's a few options for the high flow cat including Megan Racing and I believe Magnaflow has something, too, however those are around $280-$350. HKS makes a great catback for $400, or you can go the cheap alternative route (like myself haha) and get a Greddy Evo II replica catback from ebay which sounds pretty nice. Comes with a removable silencer as well and you can choose between 2.5" and 3" piping for under $150. Not too sure about afternarket headers so hopefully someone else can help you there! Good luck

Holy crap! Under 150$ but does it feel like its a cheap setup? Do you have the "fart can" noise or is it respectable? I need to know how it sourd 😀

Edit: ohh and does it fit 03 max? And would you happen to have the ebay link? Cant find it 😂
