Help Diagnose Engine Failure

Our 2002 Maxima Race car lasted about 2 hours at Road America. For several laps it started to tighten up until it finally just decided to stop rotating. In the recorded live stream you can see when it happened. Go to 3:30:00 at as our driver went into Canada corner it just gave up. The car would not roll over when we tried to start it.

After getting drug back to the pits we checked the battery, pulled the intake and plugs. when the plugs were out the starter could spin the motor. When the plugs were in, the compression was too much for the starter. We removed the passenger side wheel and rotated the motor with a wrench, it turned really hard. We also tried to push start the car but it would not run. We also pulled crank sensors and tested them.

The motor had 140,000 miles on it, and we added new headers and some intake spaced. But beyond that nothing was done to the motor. Our best guess is we spun a bearing. But I wanted to see what you guys think happened.

Drain the oil and see if you get free glitter.

How does the oil pickup do under long duration lateral G force? 350Z starves.
If it starved, then a cheap fix may be lower pan spacer and longer tube (assuming clearance is ok).

We did drain the oil to see if we could find anything, and we could see a few tiny metal specs, but no chunks. So you could say we had some glitter, but not enough for a full blown party . As for starving for oil, we are not sure. I keep wanting to install an oil pressure gauge so we can monitor it. And thanks for the spacer suggestion!

UPDATE* I think we timing chain might have jumped a tooth or 2. Go HERE, roll down and click on "October 15th 2016, 11:57:49 am". Go to 3:23.00.

Just after the driver exits Canada corner you can see he misses a shift, you can hear a loud bang, and the car is not the same. But not sure why that might cause the motor to rotate when we try to start it?
