Resonator choice

I know there are a ton of threads over this but I want some personal opinions, and recommendations. I'm looking for a resonator to eliminate some of the raspiness. I have a 2000 with y-pipe, stock cat, and a full custom 2.5 inch cat back. I loved the sound of the full straight pipe before I did the y-pipe, but now that I have the y-pipe it's very raspy up high. Any recommendations would be great, Thanks!

I've been looking at thrush glass packs, but I've heard they cause even more raspiness.

magnaflow #12641. This is what I used. You'll have to remove your center brace in order to get it to fit.

However with a stock cat and 2.5" catback I'd suggest the #12640. I have this one too on my other max. This will fit behind the brace (barely).

With either one you'll have to chop off a few inches from the start of your bpipe before it makes the first bend. Which is no big deal. You can weld it there or put in a flange. I'd suggest a flange in case you ever want to remove/replace the res in the future.

Neither of these are raspy for me and they'll help with drone. What muffler you running?

Well that's the thing, I have a full 2.5 inch straight pipe, but I have a flange right behind the axle so I can interchange from straight pipe, and stock muffler. But I'm looking for something to use with no muffler, just res, I kinda like it loud, but want a different sound.

I found a resonator on eBay that looked interesting, I will link it, let me know what you think.
