A fond and somewhat sad farewell
Hey everyone,
The time has come for me to move on. The beloved 2001 i30 which I've driven since day one is ready for a replacement. The car now has 136k miles and still running strong. However, I need a different vehicle now that my needs have changed, and an opportunity came up that I could not pass up. This was a tough decision to make as I had planned to take the Infiniti to 200k before moving on.
A friend of mine has expressed an interest in my i30, and I am happy to see it go to a good home. Hopefully it serves her as well as it did my family. I may be back from time to time to help diagnose and repair things if the need arises.
I am only hoping that I can find a site as helpful and friendly for my "new" 2003 Toyota 4Runner Limited. I thought it was kinda funny that I am going from something called "Infiniti" to a "Limited." Like I've hit the other side of the spectrum or something.
Thank you everyone, it's been a great trip.

Farewell and good luck in your endeavors.
I found myself going to a Lexus because because I couldn't find a suitable Nissan product. Toyotas are pretty reliable and you got a year model before Toyota had some big screwups.

Well, with renovating a house and several other activities, I've been needing more hauling space than the i30 can provide.
There's a more honest layer to this too... my father offered to sell his to me. It's got under 50,000 miles and he bought it new. Garage kept, maintained well, and a trouble-free truck. I figure this is a rare gem (much like the i30 was) and is an offer too good to pass up.
