I just got mines done yesterday for 180......it depends or what kind of tint you want the price varies....I got the 20% bronze tint for my ride.....I don't think the darker the more it is, I think it's the type of tint that cost more (you have Smoke, Bronze, Limo, then the "faded" loook...the sliver than fade to black/smoke tint....this usually cost more to do). Also, the lower the %...the darker the color is.....

I had a quote of $195 for mine. 28% Centaur brand. My understanding of tint is that it's the quality of the tint you pay for, not necessarily the darkness. Titanium laced or metal laced tints are more but they reflect more of the heat as well as the light. Plus the more expensive tints are usually guaranteed for life against bubbling and fading. And that is definitly worth the extra twenty dollars.

Check out my thread on this!

BTW, when referring to window tint it is no necessary to put an "s" to make it plural. The word tint is plural and refers to the all the windows on your car.

Like in my other post I got a bargain at $150!

I paid $255 top of the line Formula One tint. As everyone else has said, you pay more for the quality of the film. You can get tint for $99, but beware, you'll probably end up with purple windows some day.

$175 in Brooklyn. Great place. They get so close to the top, it looks like the window came tinted from the glass co.

$200 in Northern VA with their best quality tint that is guaranteed against the "purple look" for the life of the car. If I were in a place like Arizona I would bet they would lose on that claim.

$99.50 in the next city over from me at Jordans. The BEST place to go to get your windows tinted around here and I'm not kidding after seeing how much everyone else pays. I've NEVER heard of anyone going to Jordans and having any problems whatsoever with their tint job. They're the only place people will go to around here because of their reputation and even with that rep only charge $99.50. Same price for all tint and all tint is guaranteed for life. Any problems they redo it for free and I've never heard of anyone going back to get theirs redone. (no I don't work there)

$160, metallized hybrid, lifetime warranty. If you're in Dallas area, I can give you shop's name. They've done many of my cars and do excellent work!

I got mine done at a shop that primarily does tint. Better to leave it to the people who do it all day everyday.

The guy that tinted mine removed the door panels, and all the trim around the rear windows and charged $150, and he was obviously an expert. Atlanta GA. Ask if the installer will remove panels and trim or not. He must do this to prevent a gap at the top of the window.
