My C-Mod grill is on its way. Question about painting it.

I have an 05 Silver Max and have ordered the C-Mod on EBAY. I realize I might have a couple/three weeks before it arrives. I am going to replace the mesh with smaller mesh (AKA Home Depot Gutter Gaurd). My question is this.....If I decide to paint the border to match my car color, is there another way to do this other than having a P&B shop do it? If I try to do it myself are there any recommendations on how to do it? I have looked through old posts and there really aren't any references to painting the C-Mod yourself. Your thoughts? Thanks

Aerosal spray can. Here you go ............ http://www.automotivetouchup.com/cho...C+No%2C+*63498

Directions......... http://www.automotivetouchup.com/spr...directions.htm

I think its says to sand first, then use the spray primer. For lighter colors like silver use a white primer. Then spray the paint and clear coat.

Hey, I heard about them too. I have about 20" scratch on bumper and some small spots. Do you think I can hide them using this? I have never tried something like this before. Another side of the coin is I will have to be out of pocker at least $500 to get this fixed from my own pocket.

I think blending paint is difficult. Touch up small spots with a paint pen. I used the spray can to paint entire surface, like the engine cover or a grille.
