Traphost

I have an 04 maxima with an issue I can't figure out. When you start the car and drive it for the first few minutes everything is fine. Car runs great no issues. Then all of a sudden the car will feel like it has a misfire you can hear valve clatter while pressing on the gas and the more you press the gas the hotter then temp gets. Could this be a knock sensor or egr problem? Not sure where to go from here
