Need some more information, such as hid or halogen for starters.

Chances are you're looking in the wrong fuse box. If I'm not mistaken there is two fuse boxes in the engine bay and the one of them will show you LS and I think RS headlamp. Provide us with more info like how did you determine if the bulb isn't the issue. Did you use a tester to see if there's power going to the bulb, check the fuse or switched it with the other side?

Take the beauty cover off the passenger side of the engine bay. The IPDM is underneath.

Bulb, and fuse are ruled out. Last thing to rule out is the ballast by swapping them like you did the bulbs. It could be a wiring issue but if the car has not been in an front end collision i would doubt it.

If you checked the fuse and it's good and you switched the bulb and it worked on the other side then you need a tester to see if you're even getting power to the bulb. Doubt it's the bulb or balast because they rarely go out but if it is then you have a situation because the OEM is expensive.

I had same issue. Fuse and bulb were good. Ended up buying ballast via eBay for about $90 and changed myself. Dealer was going to charge me $625.

I'm not 100% sure the Gen V's are swappable with the Gen III or IV's. I do know that the Gen III and IV are, so you might be able to ask if they have any of those left over. theretrofitsource customer service is top notch, so I highly recommend them also.

IIRC, they all use the same input pigtails. The Gen V is an updated Gen IV pretty much.

Oh yeah, the input looks the same, I'm just not sure about the mounting. The ballasts seal against our headlights, so if the sealing side isn't exactly the same it may not fit correctly. I haven't seen anybody with OEM Gen III or IV ballasts confirm that the Gen V's are directly replaceable.

Good point. From looking at pics, they look the same except for the mounting points.
