Somebody hit my baby :(

At work in the parking lot... somebody who was getting off their shift hit my baby as they were backing up. Ughhh. Look what they did!

Thought I'd show off the damages to others who feel my pain to maybe ease mine a little. Maybe the damage is not as bad (as expensive to repair) as I think?

I feel your pain, but I don't think this will be cheap to fix. Any fender/quarter damage is usually expensive, hopefully they can just bang it back out relatively easy. I remember when I dented my hood, had to drive around like that for three weeks before it went in to get fixed.

You gonna need new quarter panel, head light (is it broken?), maybe the bumper (can't tell from your pictures).
Easily $1000-2000.00 for quarter panel & bumper then your headlight (www.car-parts.com)

Thanks for looking guys.
George: The bumper escaped injury barely. Same with the light. Blinker still works, all that jazz.

I had someone take a picture on their phone and showed the picture to a body shop and they said it shouldn't be too hard to fix (close to 100-300 dollars) but they also said to bring in the car so they can give a real estimate. So I'm a little nervous still.

Never parking near other cars again.

On the bright side (no pun intended) the headlight looks perfectly fine! Because headlights are expensive and that would suck to have to replace one.

I'd say that you were pretty lucky in this bad situation, bumper & light untouched! When I had my minor (less than 10km/h) crash I dented my hood & cracked the bumper, my lights were untouched somehow.

Hope it's fixed soon! Post pics when it is.

LoL! I was actually thinking it might be cheaper if the idiot had hit my headlight instead?

Will post pics of the finished product.. Hopefully everything goes smooth...

Heres some more pics of the tear jerking damage The bumper actually did get a bit dented unfortunately.

You can fix that bumper easily. Buy a new fender, have a shop paint it, and then swap it on. Done!

Alright, had some shops look at it and estimate damage cost... minimum $1000. Very bummed.
They said a new fender would run me 250$ but yet I'm looking around on google and I find some are as low as $100. Any good reputable fender sites you guys might be able to mention? I'd rather order my own and save a hundred or so rather than have the body shop order for me and hike up the price.

Ouch man! Guess I should feel a little lucky it's not worse... How did you dent your hood and bumper anyways? Could buy a used car for that price!

You can get a fender off ebay for around $55 and like stated above just pay to get it painted and install it yourself.

Accident >10km/h and the body shop ripped me off. Hood, bumper, light (rear clip broke, other than that it was fine & still works). Very minor, extremely expensive. Looks really good now though...
