Question - Shaking Steering wheel & console

Hello,

My 2005 Maxima SE (automatic transmission) starts to shake badly in the steering wheel at 40 Mphs and the faster I drive the worse it gets. The whole car is shaking because I can hear the and see the center console rattling. I've had this problem for about 30,000 miles and just ignored because I rarely drive it on the highway or high speeds. The car makes no unusual noise at high speeds. It doesn't get worse when braking.

Steps I've taken to resolve on my own:

Full Break Job 3 weeks ago
Replaced all 4 Rims 2 weeks ago (including Balance and alignment).
Relaced all 4 tires 2x since I've had this problem (with balancing and alignments)

To my knowledge it hasn't had any front end damage or been in an accident. I want to take it to a mechanic but don't know what the best approach to getting it fixed is. Any suggestions would be helpful. I am NOT mechanically inclined.

Thank you for reading, Jonathan

I had a terrible shake as well. I replaced all 4 brake rotors and the shake went away.

This car has problems with "SHIMMY"

I've had that issue a few times as well, and it was belt separation in a tire. You replaced tires twice....IDK. If it is a low freq vib, it's in the tires...high freq, it could be warped rotors, CV joint failing or a combination. Bring it to your shop and let them road test it.
