For a while now i have been hearing a knocking when i take off or make turns. the knocking sound comes from the front passenger side when turning. when taking off the sound seems to come from the center front area. Any ideas what this could be? I have been hearing the sound for a good while now. Thanks

Is it a 'pop' or a knock ? I had a popping sound that ended up being a loose cover and bolt on one of the pre-cats or blankets in the engine bay.

It sounds like something is loose, so i think the right sound is more of a pop.

Sounds like bad CV joint (or joints) to me. Knocking when turning is usually indicative of the outside joint going bad.

Funny thing, my bro just checked and there is oil outside the cv joint/boot area on the front driver side.
