Codes P1800 and P0340
I asked this question on the Murano forum but did not get a reply. Since his 2006 Murano and my 2005 Maxima basically have the same engine I thought I would also post on the Maxima forum
My son's 2006 Murano is showing both codes P1800 and P0340. I changed bank one camshaft sensor about two years ago and then bank two approx. three months later. First time for code P1800 (VIAS). Could I have both codes at the same time or could one code be causing both codes to appear?

Yes, both sensors were OEM. This time the vehicle was not running bad. Started ok (first when they went bad car was really hard to start. Sometimes would start then die). This time would not have know anything was wrong except for the check engine light. Did not replace the sensor until Friday the 14th. Check engine light is still on. If it does not go off if the next couple of days, will take to auto parts store and have the codes cleared and if they come back on.
