Vent the glass. Remove the little side covers. Remove the glass via the 6x torx bits. Be careful. Then you have full access to the sunroof cover to remove it for upholstery or just snap it into place. ;-)

I have a question that somewhat goes along with this. I am posting it both here and as a new topic. I recently had my sunroof worked on because somebody decided that walking over my car was a cool thing to do. They put 2 big dents in my roof, bent the sunroof so it wasn't flush with the car, and got the sunroof liner off line. All the electronics worked fine before I got it serviced, but now do not. The tilt button is now backwards, up is down, down is up, and the automatic slide doesn't work at all. I tried to reset it with no luck. I checked and made sure the plugs were correct and plugged in. I know they had to drop the headliner to fix everything. Any help would be great. they are saying they are going to take care of it but I'm not in the mood to take my car into the shop for this and wait for however long it takes.
