NWP 75mm big bore throttle body review

Just installed the NWP Throttle Body today and wanted to give a quick review. My current mods are Greddy Exhaust, Short Ram Intake, NWP spacers and now the Throttle Body.

I'm really happy with the purchase of the Throttle Body. Out of any mod I felt it the most, more so at higher RPM's. Obviously its not some insane power boost by any means, but I could definitely feel it. Some people felt like it wouldn't be worth the money for the small increase in power, but I'm more than happy with it.

The only downside which isnt really a big deal is the gas pedal is super touchy, and I mean really touchy. Driving a manual shifting gears I kept over revving a touch but I'm sure in a day or two ill be back to keeping the shifts clean.

At startup it sounds alot better, I wouldn't say it sounds like a v8 but it's a bit deeper and moving closer to it. The engine kind of sounds like it's chugging along a bit, if that makes any sense. Honestly I don't really notice it driving being any deeper though just at idle.

A random side note. Before I changed the throttle body when I put my car into neutral or pushed in the clutch it would drop in rpms and nearly stall. I'm talking like 300 rpms. Obviously there was something wrong but changing the throttle body fixed that. It's idles very steady now

Honestly driving around I really haven't noticed much difference in the sound of the exhaust. There may very well a sound differenc driving, but i dont wanna sit here and lie when personally i didnt. I think I was initially just trying to focus on preformance and I've long since forgotten what my car used to sound like. All I can vouch for is startup and idle sounds pretty mean. If you'd like I can video myself accelerating 0-100 or somthing if you want a listen?

I love this mod. Like OP said, it's probably the most character altering mod. I have an Altima though.

I was hesitant to get it, but I don't regret it one bit. My only mod at the time was a CAI. Plus you get a whistling noise =)

At 24 I'd say it's worth a try. But for diagnosing purposes I would go the oem route.
