where is fuel pump relay

I have read posts that it is under dash on drivers side, but is it

-in the area just forward of the door seam? (if yes, how do you get that kick panel off) and if no,

-is it nearer the steering column??

you mean fuse? that fuse box is right above your left knee sitting in the car. you pull the lid off with your bare monkey paws. i believe you can find a diagram in your owner's manual

Is there another method to cut of the fuel pump relay other than pulling the fuse, say, a button?

why would you need a button?

just remove the fuel pump fuse and viola no gas goes to the engine

Just forward of the driver's side door. Never taken the kick panel off myself, but it probably just pries off, held on by a couple of metal clips.

Look in the driver's side kick panel. There is a small box it says ABS control unit, there are two small relays with it the relay closest to the rear of the car is the fuel pump relay

the kick panel does come off but the relays are not attacked to the box inside the kick panel.
you can see 3 blue square things (the relays?) if you open the fuse panel door which is above the drivers left knee, and next to the steering column. How you GET TO the three relays, and which one is the fuel pump relay is my question. do you pull off part of the lower instrument panel cover, the part above the drivers knees? which my sony camera had not cratered

and the auto zone says different ones for Niles miyamoto or jideco equipped- whats that- mafg of the OEM relay?

The ABS control unit, sunroof relay and the fuel pump relay are behind the drivers side kick panel near where you would keep your left foot. it is not in the area above your knee. It appears the two relays may be hidden behind the ABS control unit that is why you don't see them. Why do you suspect this relay is causing a problem?

Do you not believe the fuel pump relay is behind the ABS control unit?

For those three:
