I just read about it on other forums, I'm sure they make great wheels.

22's still leave a huge ugly gap that makes your car look like a donk. It's a MUST that the car gets dropped, specially on 22s. 22s are hard to make look good on a max I wouldn't do it again, it cost way too much to maintain

Id leave the oem sensors on the stock wheels in case u ever want to out the stock wheels back on or sell the car.
The warning light goes off once u out the stock whels back on, or sensors close by the car.
Just get one of these 5 dollar gauges and check it once every few weeks.

hey guys, I have some new 19" euro style wheels (bmw style 172) that are direct swaps to use with oem 19" tires if you are running oem 19" wheels. About same weight as oem so you won't even notice any uncomfort since u can use your oem tires.

Damn great flippin pic 09 max...how much is your car dropped? I know you have 22s, so I assumed you rolled the fenders...it looks so dope! Def bout to drop my car a little, I'm running 22x8.5 fronts and 22x10.5. They should be on next week and now I gotta spend more money to have it dropped!

2011 SV on 20" MRR CV2's
What up guys. New to the forum. Just got my Max about a month ago. Was reviewing all the posts and man there are some nice rides on here. I decided to go with a set of MRR CV-2's. 20X8.5 35mm offset on front, and 20X10 38mm offset on rears. Got Khumo 235 35 20 on front and 255 35 20 on rears. Let me know what you think.

You guys can always buy these bad boys , its in the for sale section. Yes there r a lot if choices, a lot of trendy blings, cosmetic rivets, chrome here and chrome there. Do u really need brands with 2 - 3 letter acronyms and / or the predictable italian sounding brand name?
Cut to the chase, get rid of all the gimmicks and keep it simple, timeless and resolve the typical fitment issues related to the a35. Its all at your finger tips.

This setup looks great!

Actually MRR is an American company with designs by Japanese designers. They are usually made for higher end cars like Mercedes, Lexus, etc... Myself I consider my Maxima a luxury car. Also, they will factory drill your bolt pattern when you order the rims. I guess it depends on the look you are going for. Nice looking Max though.

Lowering
Also I think think biggest difference is the lowering. That's what sets the car off in my opinion. Those rims in the above pic look nice only because that car is lowered. Would look totally different if car was stock height. One step at a time though.

Mrr already comes in 5x114.3 so no need to redrill.

Thanx for the compliment BBmaxi!... I was going to sell the wheels but with this bad economy who has about $5k to spend on wheels? So what I did was, go ahead and told my wheel guy to design a new wheel and just paint mine for now. Im super excited! I'll post the entire process it take about 3 months to make a wheels from scratch! lol Btw those 12" rears are rediciouls!!!

New Rims for 2012 Gray Maxima
I'm considering upgrading the Rim's on my 2012 Maxima. It currently has 18" wheels stock with P245/45 tires. My concern is ride comfort. I'm was looking at 20" in wheels today and was told that I would lose comfort because of the larger wheel and tire. He recommended 245/35 tires, a different guy mentioned 255/35. Which is these has the lowest profile? I want as much cushion as possible.
Can you guys comment on how your ride was affected when you upgraded wheels/tires?
Here is the wheel I'm considering. It comes in size 18, 20 and 22 inchs.
At one point even considered 18 inch wheels, would this be a waste?
Thanks for info

a 255/35/20 will have a little more meat than a 245/35/20. I doubt you would notice a difference but I think the 255 will fill up the wheel wells better. I'd look at reviews on tirerack and other similar sites and try to find a tire that has good ride quality. You can have a thick tire and still have a stiff ride. It's all in the way the tire was designed.
Thanks for info
