Your speedometer won't be accurate and the ride will be a lot worse.
Stick with the correct size tires.
It is stupid, very, very, stupid t try and stretch tires on an 8.5, especially for this car.

Sigh been debating about switching the entire set up to wider wheels

Vossen CV1 in Graphite against Brilliant Silver. 20x9 (I think et 38) on 245/30/20 rubber in front, 20x10.5 (I think et 45) on 275/30/20 rubber in the rear. I got the wheels from another 7th gen owner, so I'm not 100% on offset. Car sits on BC Coilovers with a modest lower.

The previous owner did because he had rubbing issues when having to put 5mm spacers on to clear the Akebono BBK. I haven't changed it because the tires still have a lot of life left. I will deal with changing out the tires later.

The wheels will come mounted and balanced with lug nuts, wheel locks, hub rings and TPMS all ready to be installed on my vehicle straight out the box all for $2338! Once again here they are:

Honestly, you'd be surprised how much of a good deal you can get on eBay, Amazon or even C.I. But you DEFINITELY don't have to spend $2,500 to get brand new 20's w/o tires.

Are 7th and 6th generation OEM rims compatible?

Any one know if I can use my 2005 6th generation OEM 18 inch rims on my 2009 as winter rims?
I know my 05 don't have sensors so I will need to live with the constant sensor light on.

I would appreciate any advice.

(Also, are the front disk rotors compatible?)

Staggered rims

Question guys:

trying to put 19x8.5 and 19x9 staggered rims on my 2010 Nissan Maxima.
Should I go with front 245 40 19 and rear 275 35 19
or 255 35 19
or can I just run 245 40 19 on all of them?
Anyone has a good deal on tpms?

I would run 245/40 or 255/40 on all 4.
Why are you getting staggered wheels that are only .5" different?
Your life would be a lot easier with a square setup.

The guys took them off his son car, 2008 Infiniti G37S and I guess he didn't know they were staggered. Got them for the low low. So, I guess I'll run 245 40 on all of them. Will still look good.
Thanks for the advice.

Hey guys, im sorry if somebody already went over it but i just skimmed through the whole thread and i dont think i got a clear answer. Im thinking about getting niche form wheels in size 19 x 9.5 all the way around with +35 offset. Im not lowered and i want to still use the conti dws tires i have now size 245/40/19. I just want to know if i'll have any rubbing issues and if my tires will be stretched. I greatly appreciate any help or info.

They will fit, and very, very mild stretch. Really just inward from vertical sidewalls.

Thank you very much for the help and the quick response. I will be ordering the wheels online. Is there a way to know or anything i can check to make sure they will clear my stock calipers. I just dont wanna have to return them. Thank you again.

It would be highly unusual for any aftermarket wheels to have trouble fitting over stock calipers.

Did you have to change the calipers or shocks? And your car is dope by the way.

Sorry for not responding sooner, but I haven't had a chance to take an entire side off until recently. Unfortunately, the rear wheels won't clear the front Akebono brakes.

Thanks. How close was it? I have the akebono a as well, but am trying to find 10" square setups that will fit.

The 20" looks nice. I also had a set of 20" but they were rubbing. 20x9 front and 20x9.5 rear. So I went with 19"

So I guess the 20" would had fit just needed a lower profile tire.

Did anyone installed a Nissan OEM navigation unit inside of a 2010 Maxima that came without the navi. unit? If so, what are the steps you took, how much work, $ and is it worth it.

Get that non related crap out of here.
There is a wonderful search feature that would answer your question.
But, since you want to thread crap, no, it won't work. The wiring is all different.

Swissbeast, it means your offset was wrong.
