Fog light drl

Hey guys, I'm wondering what I need to do to rerout my current DRLs (Highbeam) to the fog lights. I live in Canada where we have to have them but I can't stand the way the car looks with the ordinary DRL so I usually turn my main Xenons on. I love the car looks with the mains on but sometimes I forget and when I realize that my DRLs are on it just feels wrong.

I have seen a few Maximas with the rerouted DRLs to the Fog lamps and I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this or if they've done it themselves.

I pulled the DRL fuse out and just run the main lights all the time.

However, I plan on wiring the Fog lights to a switched source so they just come on as soon as the car is started. Should be fairly simple, but may need a relay.

That's exactly what I wanna do. Have the fogs come on when the car is started.

But for your mains, you just pulled the fog fuse and that's it??

Yup there is a dedicated DRL fuse, just pop it out and no more ugly lights. I will wire up the fogs as soon as the weather gets a bit better around here...

Do you know how to alter the DRL to the fog's? I think a module is needed but I don't know which one
