Some vinyl and plasti dip work, opinions and thoughts
I had the opportunity of owning 2010 before trading it in for this 2014. I learned a lot when doing some customization with that car that's helped me with this one. Especially doing it right the first time.
Wheels: anthracite and gloss plasti dip
Grill: black and anthracite with gloss plastidip( soon to be vinyled instead)
Front lower valence: plasti dip black with gloss
Headlight eyebrows: 3m silver gloss vinyl( this is a 100% match for color code k23)
Window trim: 3m gloss black vinyl
Rear valence: 3m gloss black vinyl
Future mod, and this one I need an opinion. This car is a lease and so far everything is reversible if I decide to give it back, however I'm torn if I want to add a rear spoiler or not. Deslership gave me the ok to install one, but obviously it needs to stay on when and if I give the car back. Question: spoiler or no spoiler? If I do order it, it'll be color matched but I'm thinking of vinyl wrapping it gloss black to go wth the theme. Give me your opinions, also spoiler would be the last mod for the exterior....here's some pics, enjoysorry for the crappy pics, it's very sunny and iphone sucks, also I just rinsed it so those are not bubbles u may see it's just water

I'll try and explain as best as I can. First I did this is in 90 degree weather so a heat source was not needed for stretching/forming.
I started with the biggest rear trim piece, I think it's like 1'x1' piece. Peel and stick, use your squeegee or credit card to get the face nice and smooth and work out bubbles. Once the face is good I trim the excess, for the inside part of the trim I use the knife and trim along the window gasket, be careful not to cut into the window gasket. You'll see the void between the rubber and the chrome trim, use that as a guide. Take the squeegee and tuck the vinyl in.
For outter part of the trim Start with opening the door to gain clean access to the top part of the trim... On the outside edge of the trim stretch the vinyl and at the same work the squeegee to smooth it along the outside edge. Once it's smooth, take the knife and trim your excess vinyl, be careful not to cut into the rubber trim along the inside part of the door
For the rest of the trim its the same process all the way around, I cut strips about 1.5"-2" wide ad lay them on the trim, smooth out the face, then trim the excess and tuck away what's left for a clean finish.
I hope that helps sorry im not good with explaining something like this, the window trim is definitely the easiest thing to vinyl on cars. I can probably take a few pics with a simple demonstration if your interested.

3m is thicker and easier to stretch, and really sticks well

I'll get some more pics alittle lata but I got a 2ftx5ft sheet, it was more then enough. That size did not include the piece I used for the rear valence, I already had a piece for that prior to ordering the stuff for the windows

Plan to pick some up, do you have a link on where you purchased it along with the silver? I would like to do the trunk piece as well.

I bought mine from Metro Restyling. It's 3M gloss black wrap film series 1080. I also bought the squeegee & the knifeless tape from them.

What did you paint the door handles with? They look nice. Can you take a side picture of the whole car to get a better idea of how the body colored handles look this way.

Also, I can try and help and instruct someone now to vinyl wrap anything buts it's very difficult to post pics for and with someone videoing I'd crack under pressure. I work better alone
But if someone in the mass area wants to learn I'll show them or teach them
And if not someone outside mass can call to talk and learn, be a lot easier
Just trying to help
