stock head unit removal
I am new to the forum so not sure as to how it works but I have a 2012 maxima and I was wondering does anyone know how to remove the stock head unit and how hard is it. Thinking about adding a pioneer avh x2700bs. Does anybody know a video on it I can find or have any insight as to removing it? I would appreciate it.

Can you tell me what to search for because I've searched stock head unit removal and couldn't find anything on the 7th generation. I know that it can be done but can't seem to find a thread that fully explains how to.

No I don't. Plan on getting this done sometime next month. I have done it in older cars but looks a little complicated in the max. Also I have xm radio and a bose system and I was wondering how difficult is it to install a pioneer avh x2700bs and keep all the functions of the steering wheel and is it possible to have all the speakers working with it having a factory amp. Also will I be able to use my xm tuner for the pioneer for the satellite radio. Thanks
