2010 maxima cold start sputter horribly

I got 2010 maxima that stutters at cold startup only. Dealership can't figure it out and told me it was a battery that has been replaced now it's still doing it, I've ran fuel treatment n use 93 octane as required. 3 trips to dealer no help. I'm ready to return it to carmaxx. help please

In addition to checking the ignition system, it could also be a sensor. Have they checked your throttle position sensor voltages?

I had this happen to me in my 14 Maxima sv. The difference was while I was driving I suddenly got a sputter and sudden loss of power like my tranny was going out. It turns out nissan has some kind of fail safe with the mass air flow sensor, when it goes bad it shuts the motor down to avoid damages. if you do need one try carID, partsgeek, or nissan oem part site. It will take minutes to replace, hope this helps.
