Completely agree. Plasti-dip is arriving by end of business tomorrow but I have to wait for spring to get here.
My ext. color is metallic slate, will complete window trim, handles, MAXIMA and Nissan logo on back of car along with chrome strip on trunk above rear plates
For front grill just gonna do the Nissan logo only along with surrounding chrome on outside borders of the grill but gonna leave the gray polished finish alone.
Just dropped of wheels to get powder coated today, pretty pumped

^^ to answer your question, I've just sprayed and lightly scrubbed with whatever soap I use. My matte black wheels looked a little dry after 3 months being on. And the ones I used gloss on didn't have any change I could see.
I'm actually redoing them now. And the dip came off real easy for me. Except one spot I've had problems with before and just sprayed over it. But inside of the lugnut holes, how does anybody else clean those out? It's hard to get in there with a finger and roll them. Any advice would help! Thanks.

I used the turtle wax sticker remover, sprayed in the holes let it sit for a minute and wipes away effortlessly

Pretty sharp, man. Nice work.
Random thought: has anyone tried that wipe-new stuff on plasti-dip? I've heard it is actually a good product in and of itself; am just wondering what it would look like, if the dip would hold up, etc.

Might as well do that window trim and door handles! And now your car will disappear into the night. It looks badass I'll admit. I'm too old to do that as my wife would ask if I'm a wheelman or joined a car street gang. Anyway, nice job and any ideas of glossing or you gonna stay matte?
