Its seems the Max really love the cold air.... Or maybe the cold is affecting various sensors. It did set off a false indicator for low air pressure.

The car seems like it has some extra go power today, wheel hop and all.

Wow, I thought I was the only one. I noticed the same thing on the nj turnpike today. Had a little more kick and deep sound than usual. Today was 19 degrees

Max loves the colder and denser air temps...like most vehicles.
Can't wait till the nice sunshine and warmer weather along with the sluggish driving at times....

-17 degrees slowed down warm up times today, but the cold air definitely helps the third gear pull! (Thats right, negative 17 degrees F)

My light has Been on since oct when it first dipped 30. I figure ill fix it in spring when I get new tires.

My SRI sounds so freaking loud in the cold..People hear me from miles away! So Bad***! Vroom Vroom!

Don't forget that cold air is denser than warm air, hence a tire measuring 33 psi on a hot summer day can read as low as 28 psi when the really cold weather arrives. I ALWAYS have to add air to my tires when the weather turns cold. If I don't add air, the lowered psi means the tires are wearing more on the shoulders instead of evenly across the tread.

ha i thought it was just my car trying to make me love her again with the growling sounds tonight in the 16 degree weather. i've been driving her a lot lately but to her dismay it's to different dealerships looking to trade her in... she knows... i know it!

Had this problem on my '03. I'd be refilling those tires 3 or 4 times a month in the winter.

I think the tires on my 2010 are a little less susceptible to this most likely because of the nitrogen fill.

hell yea your engine loves that colder air. colder air=denser air, same principle how a true CAI makes power. yeah you'll need to add a little air to the tires unless you have nitrogen

Usually have to add air to the tires with the first cold snap of the year.

I check 'em and they all read 28psi, will bring them up to the 33 asap.

glad to hear we all had the same ritual today.... start car, see tire sensor light, add nitrogen to tires at work before heading home

So my tire light came on about a week ago (DC area, very cold as well). I checked them and they were all fine. I have about 40psi in all 4 now and it's still coming on every day.

Thoughts? Do I need to reset it somehow?
