so as per another users mod I went and did it also being the amber screen is ugly and the top half was being wasted being i had an aftermarket radio installed so the top half of the amber info screen was useless

Looks good! How do you get the info for your climate controls?

You absolutely can with the right parts and skills. Somebody did it in their G37 but the application for our Maximas should be close if not identical.

I figured it was possible just didnt know it had been tried or done yet. I have a few spare tablets sitting around and just wondered if it was possible. I think it would be bad a$$ To make this a dual headrest setup.

I had thought the same thing, but never really looked into it, as my car came with a color screen. I like your idea of the dual headrest monitors.

After going through a bunch of options, I just decided to keep it as simple as possible. My 2012 Nexus 7 is mounted with magnets to a fiberglass mold of the original orange HVAC and info screen metal brancket. I was an idiot and deleted all my pics except for these. I'll try to get some pics here soon.

on mine as you can see, i did a beed of hot glue along the bottom and a little at top, it rest perfect on the white plastic case and the hot glue is easy to peel off without damaging anything if i need to revert back. Also i put soft foam behind it to push against the inside of where the amber screen was as added support
