Window Tint Percentage

Window Tint Percentage
I found another thread on window tinting, but I wanted to get people's opinions on what percentage window tinting they think looks/ works best. The dealership still has my recalled Maxima and I thought I would have it tinted while it was there. I know the laws vary by state, but here in Texas I definitely want tint on the windows. The law here states that you have to have 25% or more light transmittance through the front seat windows. There is no limit on the tint on the back seat windows or the rear window.
One issue is that I don't know how much light blocking ability the front windows already have. A second issue is I want the windows dark, but not so dark that I have to roll the window down to see traffic at night. Finally, I don't know how much of a tint difference (if any) I can (or should) have between the rear and front windows without it looking odd.
Any advice here is much appreciated.
Thank you.

Before tinting mine, I found this great site with hundreds of examples of what lots of vehicles in all different colors look like with different tints. No tint at all only lets 70% of the light in which is all that is legal here, but I got 38% anyway. I personally think it looks goofy if there is a different on the front and back windows. So I did 38% on all but the wind shield.

I have 20% all around but on the windshield. Looks black on exterior during most times of the day. It's great for everything but when it comes time to reverse when it's dark outside. Makes parallel parking tough enough that I need to roll down the windows to use my mirrors when I'm out of light. Never had any trouble with seeing traffic at night, so long as they are using their lights. 30% is a little better.

I am in MN. 50% is the legal amount of window tint allowed in the state. What's funny is that I had 35% on every car and truck I've owned (Audi A6, Acura TL, Camry SE & 4Runner). I was pulled over at least twice in each vehicle for window tint violations (and given a fix-it-ticket) except for my 4Runner which I drove for 5 + years.
I am thinking about just doing 50% on the Max, just to avoid any issues. Anyone else here put 50% on or do you think it's just not worth it?

I'm thinking of having them put 30% on the four windows and 20% on the back windshield. Has anyone had 20% on the back window and had difficulty seeing through it at night? Granted, I will have a backup camera, but I still don't want to make it difficult to see out of.
