Thanks again Jeff. It sounds like the best bang for the buck option though, despite the reservations that were mentioned by everyone re hardware specs. Thanks to you all for sorting out the correct way to assemble the puzzle. I'll be interested to see the improvement in braking this kit + the 6th gen front setup I'll be installing provide. Brian has responded that the solid discs + bracket are still available for $250.

Do you guys know if this kit will fit the 3rd gen Maxima? I have the 4 piston Wilwood on the front and would like to go with a bigger setup in the rear for better balance. I would be open to converting to the 4th gen calipers to make this work. Does any one know if the 4th gen caliper will bolt up to the 3rd gen mount?

Yes it would fit. 3rd-5th gen rear brake setups were basically same hardware...the only thing different between 3rd/5th gens is the torque bracket. Just let Brian know what you have.

I have mine for sale but it's for an 03

Price has gone up about 50$ or so, I would hope/assume this is due to upgraded hardware, etc but wasn't able to clarify with him.

300$ for blanks,
350 for Xdrilled/slotted.

Mine came in lat week. Decided these were the best combo for the front Brembo's.

Compare your torque brackets...old ones from your car and the one from fastbrakes. Do they look like this? If so, read over posts 39, 40 & 41 in this thread.

So far all I did was source out the torque brackets which are 1991-97 rear. maybe there some shaving down that might correct the issue. I didn't purchase the fastbrakes(torque brackets)

I used brackets from a 94SE and ands from that car too. Got them at AutoZone, worked fine, no grinding or any of that.
