2nd gen vq35 swap in a 4th gen with 3.0timing

hey guys it's been a while since I posted on the org but i'm just looking for some tips or advice, I recently purchased a 2014 Nissan Murano engine Which I'm going to install in a 96 Maxima (Lachingadera) i have a upper and lower pan. I'm going to get a set of cam adapters form a good buddy Of mine Schmelly,All i need is to take apart the 3.5 that's in the car and salvage As much as i can ,the 3.5 that's in the car has rod knock due to over250k on the engine And it had a hard last 60k On it. I beat the crap out of it. ..Lol thanks in advance

Lachingadera last time at the track

The Car it will come frome

What it looks like. Same as altima

I don't quite understand the question, but good luck. Things to do right off would be change all oil seals/rings of course.

@ lachingadera.

Yeah, you won't need us if you've got Schmelly on board, but it be nice to see this thread updated with pics and info. I find it strange they only rated it @ 260. But @ 6000. Looks like an HR, at least the manifold does.

They're detuned for women.
The other half is b/c I'm sure they're trying to squeeze a little more life out of those ****ty CVTs.

They even have the infiniti ver detuned the same way. I wonder if the extra weight is what they're worried about compared to the maxima.
