Trouble (noise) with Kenwood sirius modulator?

Trouble (noise) with Kenwood sirius modulator?
Anyone else have trouble with Kenwood's Sirius FM modulator in the their Max? I get noise, almost a "white" noise at even intervals. It's worse when I first turn it on and fades to almost non-existant after 20mins or so. It does it with the car running or not and it's not the antenna connection as the radio works fine with the modulator off. Any ideas?
