For those of you who have run a power lead to the trunk for the battery for an amp, where did you run the cable? Did you drill a hole or use a preexisting hole? I would rather avoid drilling holes in my car since I just got it. Thanks.

Mine has a hold drilled in it right between the clutch and the brake. . . I don't know what others are doing with theirs though. . . I think a majority of us have holes drilled in them though

drill

on the right of the car.. (you are facing the front bumper looking back at the car) make sure you dont drill into the wires or anything behind the engine compartment on the other side. lotta wires there. make sure u use a rubber gromet so the cut wont eat in to the wire.. it can cause a fire when that happens.. be careful.. i ran the power on the left side of the car.. i drilled where the clutch msater cylinder was suppse to go sincei have an auto.. ran teh wired under the trim peices on teh left all the way back.. i ran the rca thru the center of the car when i had my old deck.. with my newdeck since i have a brain everything is in the trunk. make sure you ground the amp good.. i recomend no more tahn 2ft for the ground. drill into the car and ground it.

This is what i did

I removed the fender liner (wow this car is so similar to a Camry its not even funny), to expose the factory grommet. I sliced a hole with a knife and then ran 2 gauge power cable to my amps. I also utilized the factory wire ties too. Hooks directly and cleanly to my battery.

Drill

I have mine drilled throug the firwall ... right behind the pedals...

then ran the wire underneath the platic covers at the foot of each door, under all the plastic facing.. beneath the rear seat, and through exiisting hole to the trunk..

my grounding i did right at the trunk, so only my audio and the +12 is running under the footboards... out of sight.

What's this I hear about drilling?

Behind the pass side firewall Behind the AC Compresssor there is a rubber Gromet, Pinch a hole through the rubber gromet and feel the wire through the Gromet and it'll come out from behind the AC Condenser.. NO NEED TO DRILL ANYTHING..
